Having Trouble With Your EAS Labels?

The Tag Test Lab can evaluate:

1) Label Dimensions: Label length, width, thickness (both including adhesive/ without adhesive), accuracy of die-cut. 

2) Materials: Label material, adhesive, source of material/ adhesive.

3) Backing Liner: Width, materials of construction, quality.

4) Reels: Core diameter, roll diameter, no. of splices used (materials of splices and quality), check accuracy of no. of tags/ labels on reels, label repeat length, label gap. 

5) Label Artwork: Establish what print method has been used, evaluate the pre-print/ clear contrast level, evaluate clarity of artwork, determine adhesion of printing ink.

6) EAS Element: Ensure correct EAS used, evaluate adhesive quality of EAS label.

Testing:
In order to ensure that all of the tests are accurate and valid, the following parameters will also be examined and monitored.  Tests will be conducted using industry and globally recognized "Finat" testing methods with subsequent detailed written reports providing feedback on the performance of all labels.

Age Testing: Completed both in an "accelerated environment" and natural aging. Tags will be analysed at regular intervals and should be applied to a variety of different substrate materials.

Environment: Will be tested in a variety of environmental conditions to evaluate how the tags react to exposure to extreme heat/ humidity conditions.
