TAG COMPANY INTERNATIONAL COMPLETES MANAGEMENT-LED BUYOUT
Fast Growing Retail Security Company Opens New Offices and Charts Course for Growth
Fort Lauderdale, Florida, US, and London, UK, November 5, 2003– TAG Company International (TAG), a leading provider of anti-shoplifting tagging technology, recently completed a management-led buyout. The company was formerly a division of Entertainment UK, a subsidiary of the Woolworths Group PLC. Entertainment UK maintains a minority stake in the company.
As part of the buyout, TAG has opened new offices in the United Kingdom, in Harmondsworth, Middlesex. In addition, the company has moved its headquarters to the United States, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, from where it is driving expansion into North America and Latin America. The company will continue to maintain its office in Singapore, serving the greater Asia/Pacific region.
