Fast Growing Retail Security Company Adds Resources to Support Growth
Fort Lauderdale , Florida , US , and London , UK , January 11, 2005 – TAG Company International (TAG), a leading provider of anti-shoplifting tagging technology, announces the appointment of Phil Doyle as Director of Sales & Business Development – Europe . In addition, TAG has recently added three additional sales, marketing, and support personnel to their staff in the positions of National Accounts Manager, Marketing Manager, and Customer Support Specialist.

In the last twelve months, we’ve increased sales by 50%, doubled our customer base, gained four chain-wide rollout decisions, and had our first $2 million month. The UK EAS (Electronic Article Surveillance) market continues to be one of the world’s strongest and our UK business has been helped by the weak American dollar. These recent personnel additions to our UK operations underline our commitment and confidence in growing TAG’s business here. We are extremely fortunate to have been able to recruit Phil from the POS sector. His proven track record of developing and marketing technology to top retailers will make his transition to loss prevention a smooth and successful one”.
Mr. Doyle joins TAG Company after a highly successful career at Nortel, CRC Group and, more recently, with the Security Division of Thales, where he was responsible for turning around the UK business and building longer-term client and partner relationships to ensure future growth. At TAG, he will lead the company’s sales, marketing, internet, and business development functions in the UK and Europe . An outstanding technology executive, Doyle has successfully developed and sold high technology solutions and applications to major retailers across Europe . He has demonstrated skills for devising market and technology strategy and has successfully re-engineered organizations within his previous companies towards greater productivity and profitability. Having lived and worked worldwide, he speaks five languages and holds degrees in IT and Modern Languages, with professional qualifications and accreditations with the CIM and ISMM. Mr. Doyle will sit on TAG’s Leadership Council.
