TAG Company International introduces new Self Seal Tag DVD
for use with DVD, PC CD-ROM and Games

June 6th 2005 (London, United Kingdom) – TAG Company International, a leading provider of security solutions to combat retail theft, and supplier of the market-leading Self Seal Tag (SS Tag™) today officially launched the new Self Seal Tag DVD, a major development in their market-leading Self Seal Tag programme.

Available immediately, the Self Seal Tag DVD has been developed to meet the growing demand for a secure retail tagging solution in the Entertainment Media market, and can be used to protect both DVD and game formats.  The Self Seal Tag DVD combines an Acousto-Magnetic (AM) EAS security tag with an adhesive plastic closure in a wide format to specifically suit DVD and game casing, enabling secure and effective live merchandising in stores.  As the Self Seal Tag DVD does not increase the size or footprint of items protected, greater volumes of merchandise can be displayed in-store.

The current range of Self Seal Tags is supplied to the major Entertainment Media retailers in the UK, and in 2004 over 70 million units were provided to combat retail theft.  The new Self Seal Tag DVD format allows retailers to protect all forms of music and video format with the same technology and image.
